From the case study of this week I learned important tools that can't be left behind while being in the world of social media marketing. First of all it's necessary to take into account while having a company in the U.S. that almost 80% of the population is concentrated on the East Coast. To reach them, you need to adapt your time of posting. You would also increase your chances of getting more visibility in one shot.

Secondly, I was surprised about what we can actually do with Facebook. I've been using this social network for 6 years and I knew that their advertisement strategy is good, but seeing here how they actually do is very impressive. The data of users' profiles as demographics or personal interests can be used to target your best the people more likely to need your product. This is a good thing to know, well targeting your customers with adapted ads will get you more views and "talking about it" mentions, this way you also increase your popularity, while you reach new potential followers.

Last but not least, the data presenting the right moments for posting are actually very useful and convenient. To strike well your customers you should pay attention to these informations, to increase your chances of being seen by a bigger amount of people than usually. Tweeting at the best hour - 5pm on Wednesdays should get you more interaction from followers than on a random Monday afternoon. Same goes for Facebook, when sharing content of Saturdays around lunch time will have more views from fans than on a Thursday morning. This is because of how our days are constructed, and our break moments tend to be at the same time every day, and on weekends of course. These are times where people allow themselves to take a break and go on social media. Having the best average of people seeing your post is possible taking into consideration these timelines.

I'd definitely use these strategies while promoting my brand / company. They're a good help to increase an audience and get more popular on social media.
